My first build, here. The "CPU FAN" connector on the motherboard is 4-pin, the two fans on the Noctua are 3. What do I do?

You can plug in one fan onto the CPU Fan header as shown in rolli's link, but you'll have to plug in the other fan into another 3pin fan header or get a 3pin-molex converter.

If you get a CPU fan with a 4pin header, it will allow the motherboard to automatically adjust the fan speed if the CPU temp changes.

OR even better, get this CPY 4pin Y SPlitter. You plug it into the CPU header and then use 3pin or 4pin connectors both will work and use only 1 mobo header. I have it works like a charm. Let us know what u do... Good Luck.

Hello I have the excatly same problem now. the fans are 3 pin and I got 4 pin connector so running 100% all time. Which converter should I buy?
