I am building my highend workstation, stuck at deciding SSD.

I have shortlisted following 3 as per availability in my country and my budget.

Vertex 4
Crucial M4
Corsair Neutron

Samsung 840 (another +$10, if it's worth considering)

These 3 are in almost same price range (+/- $10), so I'll go with best performer, after your valuable opinion.

Thanks guys.

PS: Not to mention, I have finalized rest of the system with you people's helpful votes :)

Thanks.

On another note, the Corsair Force Series 3 is kinda $55 cheaper compared to the other options I mentioned here. How's Corsair Force series 3 in real world? I know benchmarks are down but how much does it effect real world performance?

Sorry, I don't own either drive so I wouldn't know about real-world performance.
I guess it depends on what you're going to use your system for.

I'm pretty sure most average users wouldn't notice any real-world difference between the two drives.

I've owned a Crucial M4 256GB for over a year and have been extremely happy with both performance and reliability. I can't speak for either of the other two drives personally, but when I evaluate which SSD to by, reliability was far more important to me than performance.
