5870 Issue, Help Please?

Why hello there =] i have an issue with my 5870, when in game my screen freezes and goes black, i originally thought a VPU reset but it doesnt go back to my desktop and exit the game it does;well i'll show you with a vid below;

as you can see my screen freezes, resets then lets me move abit then freezes again, i've tried reformatting, and tried different drivers, so i'm a tad stuck any help would be appriciated =]

What about the rest of your system?
tell us your full specs including monitor and OS...

Intel i7 920 @ 2.67GHZ
ASUS P6t SE Mobo
6 GB DDR3 Ram in triple Chan at 1667
moniter is some fail thing but i've triede it on a hd moiniter and another VGA but its a Fujitsu Siemens thing
Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit
Drivers being - AMD 10.8
3 120mm fans (cant remember the name but got them bookmarked if you'd liek to see)
anything else?

I see you're using the latest driver (10.8)...
Now try use the older driver like 10.3 or 10.4, that's the most stable driver for now.
Uninstall your current driver and make sure you use DriverSweeper before installing the new one.

tah i'll give it ago, i did something similiar b4 but i didnt use driver sweeper :p  so ty =] any chance you have a link to teh older drivers?

sorry for the delayed reply, but it still happened with 10.3 and 10.4 drivers any more ideas?

Did you check the card temps? It could be an overheating...

checked that with sensors on my fans and with mnaual temps. plus the cooling i have is less than 2 months old.

Ahh i've used them before and temps were at a decent rate, cant remember teh actual degrees but i know it wasnt stupidly high to be over heating. luckily i am on warranty till april next year so i'll RMA it. Thanks for the advice!
