Hello
I have a 2 year old computer. My 8600GT works on my other computer but not on my 2 year old computer, the 2 year old computer had the 8600GT since it was built. But today, my 8600GT froze and no longer display any pics on my 22in monitor. Even with a restart it doesn't display any pics, it say "no signal"
Thanks for the help.

You said that 8600GT works on the other PC but not with 2years old PC, right?
So i guess is your mobo or PSu is going bad...

I agree with wa1, it does sound like your old machine is dying on you.

Is it an SLI motherboard (in the old machine)?

Have you the latest drivers for the GPU and also the latest bios.
I know it's worked before.. but it's always good to keep up-to-date to see if that helps.

More than likely it's your motherboard though.

I think the fault is in the motherboard especially your pci slot. If you have any onboard graphics try it and see if it works.

other than the 8600 gt, is the system working properly?

My onboard doesn't work. Even I tried VGA. I had everything up to date. It's not a sli board. It's a p5n-mx board.
