Hello all, Just wanted to get some opinions on my idea,

I currently have a Asus P5N-D Mother, with a Core 2 E4400cpu, and 8GB dominator mem. 800MHz.

My cards are Nvidia Gorce 9600GT's OC in SLI.

What I want to do is change them for a eVGA GeForce GT240 1GB DDR3 PCI-E.

Is it worth doing or is my current set up faster?

Thanks for the Help!

Solution
a single GT240 is as fast as a single 9600GT.
So if you already have 2x9600GT on SLI then stay with your setup.

If you want to upgrade then go with higher card like HD5770 or GTX460.

What is your current cpu speed? a little bit OC will help you a lot... :)

Hello
wa1 is right about your VGA,going from 2 9600GTs to a single GTS 240 is a down-grade and will give you less performance, consider a GTX 460 or HD 5850(if your budget allows),they'll give you a good boost in performance.
As for CPU,well OC'ng it won't give you a performance boost as much as a better VGA does.
