Hii,

I have a config:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Intel Original DG33FB Motherboard
3 GB 800 Mhz DDR2 Ram
4*1TB SATA 7200 RPM Hard Disk
XFX Nividia 8600GT Graphics Card
Sapphire HD Radeon 5870 1 GB Graphics Card ( to be bought)

So Will the Cooler Master Silent Pro M500 be good for me or I have to go for M600 ??

I prefer antec or corsair power supplies, but the 600m should be adequate if you don't overclock the cpu.

Yeah I know M 600 would be adequate. But I asked about whether M500 would be sufficient or not ??

According to the saphire 5870 specs, it may work. 500w is cutting it close. It amazes me how much people spend on their video cards and go cheap on the ps. But don't blame me if you have instability.

It's a PSU and CPU.

Generally speaking, Cooler Master PSUs are at best average. The Cooler Master Silent Pro M series is made by Enhance which this series a little better than the rest of their line up. 500w should be adequate.

I prefer higher quality PSUs though.
