Hello guys, this is my first post. Thanks in advance for the help.

Just wondering if the following items would be compatible as I'm looking to upgrade from the on-board graphics to a new card.

Here's the card i'm looking at:
video card

and here's my motherboard:
motherboard

I'm also up for any recommendations on a better video card. Looking to mostly use my PC for streaming HD content and perhaps playing an occasional game, I'm not a hardcore gamer by any stretch of the imagination. Trying to keep the price under $100.

Thanks again.

When you linked your motherboard, you just linked the card again. However as long as you have a PCI-e slot on your motherboard it will be compatible.

I'm in agreement with the above posts, You may want to post your PSU specifications(model number, brand output etc) just to make absolutely sure, even though I doubt it will be a problem with that card.

Do you need a low profile card? If not then it's better to go with a regular 4650. For around the same price range you can go with a Radeon 5550 or 5570 which would be a good bit faster. Of course, the low profile variants are a bit more.

I just want to ad that I have that same low profile 4650 in my living room PC (threw it in an XPS 210). It's good for lower end games at 720p, but if you want to play Street Fighter 4 or anything more demanding on it you'll have to use lower settings.

Also, Would just like to add that I'm currently running Ubuntu so an nvidia based chipset would be preferred.
