Hello,
I have Lenovo G550.

Worked perfectly until it fell from a chair.
Now still works, but when i try to listen to sound using a headphones i hear a weird sound, distorted sound, i can understand the words sometimes.

Can i fix this by myself or at least see whats the problem? (friend told me all i have to do is put some chip, that was misplaced or moved after the fall, to its original place)

It is possible to open the laptop up and check to make sure everything is still in place, but I would suggest calling Lenovo especially if your laptop is under warranty.

Depending on what the internal damage is you would probably have to replace the entire MB.
