Hello,

I have a FREECOM_DVD+/-RW18H9 USB Device and every time I enter a Aone 8x DVD+R 240MIN 8.5GB disk into the drive it trys to read it and then comes up with a result of not being able to find a disk in the disk tray.

The drivers for the DVD burner are 2001, but I can not find the latest drivers for some reason.

I've tried using this DVD burner on two programs and both come with the result of not being able to find a disk, please help?

Have you tried sticking a standard DVD or CD in there to see if it can read those? It might be that the brand of recordable media you're using is duff, this can be a problem with budget disks.

If it cant read a mastered CD or DVD (a purchased Audio CD or DVD film) then try the drive on another PC. It might be that the USB port you are plugging it into does not produce enough current to power the drive. This is doubly the case with some of the Apple kit out there.
