Minimum weight gigabit switch

Hi!
I am looking for a minimum weight (5 port) indoor gigabit switch.
Since I didn't found anything but desktop switches yet, I thought maybe someone of you might have experience with stuff like this.
Are there any basic embedded alternatives, e.g. without housing, that I overlooked?
Thanks in advance.

Do you want a switch that can be installed in a PC or a rack mounted unit? If in a PC, just install one or two 4-port NIC and use the system as a router. It will be expensive, but you won't have a desktop switch.

Desktop switches are fairly inexpensive nowa days.. You can always mount them inside a closet or to the back/side of a desk to make it look nice and pretty if that is what you are worrying about.

A rack mounted switch is going to be a little bit more expensive, plus you are going to have to buy a rack system for it to sit in, and then that in turns takes up way more room than a desktop switch would.
