What are your needs? Do you plan on gaming if so what resolution do you play at and what kind of quality do you want for those games. Also make sure your PSU is adequate for the graphics cards.

Regardless at the 125ish dollar rage this 5770 would be a good choice, if you can live with the MIR.

If not you could get a 5750.

YOU NEED MORE RAM ! get a lesser card 5750 instead of 5770 and buy more ram for your computer.

at that rez a ati 5750 of a nvidia gts 250 is more than enough.gtx 260 wipes the floor with all those cards but it really isnt necessary at 1280 1024 unless u want more than 100fps in ur games

....But eventually your going to want to replace that 17" monitor with a nice 22-24", so thinking about the future isn't a bad idea either.

The single most gratifying computer upgrade you can make is a big fat monitor. It makes such a BIG difference. Spend a little more and get the 5770.

This one is a mad overclocker.

$139 after rebate and a free game.

Agreed moving to 22" or 24" from a 17" is just somehow gratifying and when when friends. They want one
