Hi guys,

I just upgraded my RAM from 2gig (1 gig ddr2 667 x 2) to 4gig (I added a 2 gig ddr2 667); pc then became slow (apps, games, firefox, etc.).

***Also noticed that flash apps run really slow (e.g. youtube: video lags when played fullscreen but is fine when played in default view).

Tried swapping the RAMs back to 2 gig (old setup of 2 sticks of 1gig RAM and also tried using only the 2 gig stick) and pc/programs worked fine. PC just slows down when I have all 3 sticks installed.

The memory sticks are Kingston ValueRams btw.

Is it possible that the power supply is insufficient (PSU is only generic) or is the cause of the slowdown something else?

Here are my system specs:

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Processor: Intel E6750
Power supply: Dynamo Pro 600W
Motherboard: Intel DP35DP
VGA: ASUS GTX 460 768mb
RAM: 4 gig
HDD: 80gig seagate + 160gig seagate

Thank you very much!
