ATI 6800 series performance leak(benches included)

I came across this today. http://www.fudzilla.com/graphics/graphics/graphics/radeon-hd-6800-series-performance-benchmarks-leaked So what does everyone think? If it's real, there looks to be a signifigant boost over the 5000 series cards.

  1. Lets hope it doesn't run as hot as a GTX480 or worse the 512 spec. Gladly prices will go down having been op for long and will stick it to Nvidia.
  2. i think your link didn't work >_< there's been several posts on leaks though and usually they show a 20-30% performance increase which seems to be abotu what we've come to expect generation to generation where there isn't a signifigant compatibility change ie like the 4000 to 5000 series where there were smaller levels of improvments but did go dx 10.1 to dx11

I just tried it again, and it worked. Maybe it's cached. If so I'll copy paste the leak manually.
  4. Wow. According to the Unigine test, the 6870 is better than the GTX 480 in tesselation and dx 11. The GTX 480 gets about 30 fps at those settings in the bench, while the 6870 gets 36.6 fps. Lets hope these are real.
