ATI Radeon 5850 screen too dark / dim

Hello,
I just reformatted my desktop last night and now my monitors are all dim except for my primary screen.

I have checked the monitors and they are all fine. I have two Radeon 5850s and I never had this problem before, I have checked all the color settings and I can't seem to get the screens to brighten up. Its like when you unplug a laptop from the power supply and the screen dims to save power.

Any idea how to fix this?

Did you install ATI's 10.8 drivers? If you did... when you had the cards before were you using different drivers e.g. 10.6? If so delete the 10.8 and revert back to the working drivers you had before.

Since you said you reformatted did you use Windows and Catalys both to set up your displays?

I used just Catalys, I will look at getting the older drivers.

Try setting the display in Windows as well, what Windows version are you using?
