Hi guys I'm buying a new system for architectural rendering with an i-7 860 cpu, I'll be mainly using 3dmax and Autocad. In the forums they say that the Ati cards are a tad better than the geforce one but I also read that for rendering geforces' CUDA technology is irreplacable. So any advice on which card I should buy?
Thanks in advance!

Hello
HD 5770 performs better than the other two, so go for it.

Yes, The 5770 is the best here for performance, however if it is ONLY rendering(and alot of it) that you require I'd recommend a Quadro or Firepro etc. they cost more but there more suited to your task, With a 5770 however you can mix a good amount of gaming and some decent rendering at the same time.

HD5770!!! All the way. Don't think about the other two. Performs somewhat equal to the HD4870.
