First Build - Budget/Gaming

I'm building a computer for the first time, mainly for gaming. Being a poor teenager, I'd like to spend as little money as possible; my budget's about $800. Here are the parts I picked out, but as I'm new to this, if anyone has advice or suggestions that'd be great.

I wanted to try core unlocking for the Phenom II 550 - does anybody know the success rate for this - also, will my mobo support it?

What monitor do you have? You could spend much less depending on its resolution.
Right now, ou're over-spending on the case and PSU.

A CX430 with a RC330 should be all you need.

With unlocking the CPU, rates can be over ~80% with the 550BEs, not sure about the normal versions, but should be a bit lower. Your board would do it perfectly though.

I have an ASUS VW246H 24" 1920x1080 - I already own that though.

and yeah I realize the Case and PSU are a bit much, but I want to leave room for future upgrading - my total's only about $670 anyway
