I'm looking for help with my first build. I have some parts in mind, but nothing solid or specific. Looking at an Antec 300, i5 760, gts 470, 4 gigs of ram, and a large 25" Hd monitor.

Approximate Purchase Date: For Christmas

Budget Range: Around $1000, not that strict (may be up to 1100)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (Mmo's, Civ5 type games, rpg's), Watching movies, Browsing the Internet,

Parts not required: Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Country of Origin: US

Parts Preferences: Leaning toward something like an i5 760, quad core is not neccesary, however. Graphics equal to nvidia 470.

Overclocking: Maybe - if anyone has any good guides, as I haven't overclocked before

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe in the future to try and keep up with games

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200, big (25"

Additional Comments: First build, looking for something that will let me play games at 1920x1200 with good settings, as well as if possible future proofing or allowing for upgrades (thinking about doing sli/xfire when prices drop)
