Ok guys, im in dire need for a new PC ....

I play an awful lot of 'BattleField Bad Company 2'
'Modernwarfare 2'
'Borderlands'
'Crysis'

Some of these games, such as BC2 im struggling to keep stable at 40 FPS even on low settings, first off, my set-up:

CPU: Core 2 Duo e7400 2.88 @ 3.00Ghz
GPU: Nvidea Geforce 9800 GTX+ Black edition
RAM: 2Gb Kingston
HDD: 250gb 'something or other
Mobo: Asus p5qle
PSU: 700W Arctic Power
Monitor: Samsung p2250 1920*1080 22"

My upgrade im looking to do is to put in a new CPU, something along the lines of a Quad 9450 (baring in mind of the socket type) and also SLI the 9800 GPU ?
Otherwise, the build im probably looking for would be:

Simply, im looking for more FPS, alot to be fair as im hoping to save money instead of buying a new rig.

Its a bit of a ramble, but im not too sure what else to ask, jsut throw the ideas at my on the upgrading ?

THANKYOUUU :bounce:

The humble GTS 250/HD 4850 eeks out slightly more frames than the 9800GTX+ whilst being more efficient so @ 1920 x 1080 i am gonna call GPU upgrade and clock a wee bit higher Considering budget - no AA/AF maybe hehe

MW2/Crysis strictly GPU bound games (unless u on single core)

You have a slow dual core processor. Not enough ram and the video card isn't very good for most of those games listed. I wouldn't waste my time upgrading the system. It's dated and before you know it parts will disappear in a hurry like they did for the 939 socket. At least one of those games uses 4 or more cores.
I would opt for an AMD 6 core, at least 4gig of ram and a GTX470 or a 5850 at minimum.
go over to the CPU section. I just posted something about 6cores + games. Interesting.
