i have c2d e7500 2.93ghz...
i was wondering, could it support the 2011 gaming specs?

It would still run, with the proper gpu it'd still be a "good enough" rig. Unless of course if you are picky and want to always run at max settings, resolution with AA and AF.

oc? but i have standard stock intel fan...and a bugdet casing...and ofcourse a standard motherboard g31 chipset.. do i need to buy a new mobo, casing and custom fan?

The G31/G41 is a basic, economical, entry level chipset. If you have access to the BIOS, you will be able to push the core speed of an E7500 up to about 3.6 - 3.7 GHz before you start running into FSB freq limitations of your motherboard.

You will need better than stock cooling.

I am assuming your motherboard has a PCI-e 1.0 x16 slot. If so then make sure you buy a PCI-e 2.0 card and not PCI-e 2.1. There is some compatibility issues with a PCI-e 2.1 in a PCI-e 1.0 slot.

correct, but, i have the pin connector..which i dont know the names, molex 2 to 8 or 6 pin or like that
