Hello all,

I've recently had a few major problems with my pc mainly regarding my cpu but thats another long story that's already been taken care of. My new problem consists of my sound card, at least I think.

I have an Nvidia MCP55 High Definition

Audio playback: Realtek HD Audio

My speakers are connected and working and i've already checked my hardware and volume settings.

Thanks for the help.

What changed in your system before you lost sound? Assuming you are using Windows, check your Control Panel/Sound to make sure you have the correct output/playback device selected as default. Also, go into your Device Manager and have sure your drivers are good to go. Good luck!
