Will an fsp blue storm II 500W psu be ok with AMD phenom II 955 running at stock
AMD 785 td- evo motherboard
OCZ 4gb of ddr3 1333
1 x sata II optical drive
3 x sata II hard drives ?
1 x ATI 5770

I've got 2 sata drives set up NOT using RAID 500gb each just storage for games, music and the odd video i'm to add a 160gb out of an older pc which i will install xp and ubuntu back on it to run my older games like il2, far cry, half life and battlefront. Windows 7 proffesional is the main os.

500W should be plenty for that rig.

Ok great thanks i might upgrade to a 5850 in the near future nothing more than that has i mainly use a 17" LCD monitor and occasionally a 22" HDTV.

I calculated ~370W with your current setup. Changing to the 5850 puts you at ~410W.
