Hello everyone. I've been researching for 3 weeks now...I have a screaming headache.

This will be my first build, so any and all helpful suggestions are welcomed.

Thank you for your time.

Approximate Purchase Date: This week

Budget Range: $1200 After Rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, surfing the internet, streaming videos, watching movies

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, speakers

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any...willing to shop around to get the best deal

Country of Origin: U.S.

Parts Preferences: by brand or type: no preference

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: still not sure...just the one that will fit the overall build

Additional Comments: I'm looking for a well-balanced system that will play Civ-5, and "someday" Diablo 3.
I don't need the Highest settings, just stable - playable. Watch movies, surf, run multiple apps, webcam,
and Photoshop, ( which i hope to purchase in a few months). I would like 1 decent widescreen monitor now,
and have the ability to get a second one in a few months. I need Windows 7 Pro, to be able to run all my XP stuff,
(or so i have read in a few reviews). I also need a multi-card reader, DVD burner, 3.5 floppy, and at least 4 usb ports.
I hope i haven't put anyone to sleep...

Thanks in advance...Max

and repalce the vid card with this

otherwise good build I was just trying to have enough GPU HP

oh by the way this is 8 dollars worth of changes with a 15 mir should be 7 dollars cheaper

I like that case...and now i'm off to look up native res. for monitors and the min. gpu
to run it. I'll use the gtx 460 to compare stats. And see if I have another week or so worth of patience left in me. LOL

Thank you for the suggestions.
