I'd say you should manage nicely with a GTX 460 1GB ($220) or a HD5850 ($250), but the 6xxx are coming out this week

should the 5850 see a nice price drop when the 6xxx comes out?

i was wondering do you think the 5770 will be enough for high FPS in 25 man?

No. Not at 1920. But then again, I've played 25-man with a 260 and had no problems. But you sound like you want all the eye candy and high fps as well. You can stretch a 460/5850 doing that.

well if i played with the settings a little under ultra it wouldnt bother me. ive been playing for three years now with medium settings in BC and low now in wrath. So Ultra in Cata sounds great but yeah i can lower the settings a little i guess. would i be able to get high FPS with decently high settings at least?

If you're melee, you'll have to to see what's going on lol.

Anyhow, you've got enough cpu. As Screwy said originally, a 460 or 5850 is enough, and you should wait a few days to see if AMD's new series vid cards has an effect on the market, or on what you should buy.

It should, so hang tight a few days. Cata isn't until 12/7.

That Rosewill psu has not been reviewed, nor is there any review of the "Bronze" or Libertas series. So that is not a psu I would recommend or buy. The "Green" series at least has one decent review, though not for the 700W specifically. If I were to buy a Rosewill psu, I'd go this route:

Also, I trust you aren't counting on actually using the monitor's speakers :)

no on the Rosewill PSU! For a single card, you should be fine with a decent 500-600W PSU. Look for Sea Sonic, Antec, Corsair, Silverstone, OCZ, etc.

The recently reviewed Xigmatek PC-402/502/602 should be fine for you, and the 402 is only $39.99

+1 on a Corsair psu.

Twoboxer: the speakers on that Asus are actually pretty OK for most people we recommended the OP ty them out before buying new ones in the original build post.

^ Good to know . . . my experience with the speakers in small monitors is they are louder than notebooks and about the same quality.

I'd second your recommendation to try it first - its not like "trying" a psu lol.
