  1. Hmm the good thing about that 890GX is

    it's got integrated graphics

    and the not so good

kindda pricey and if 8/8 Cf is not needed even more so

Hence with the HD 6000 series in a matter of days now just hold off that discrete GPU purchase? Consider 880G as well of even 785G/790GX if USB/SATA 3.0 is not a deal breaker ^^

Also : AM3 is dual channel so 2 x 2 or 2 x 4 GB and consider the much cheaper 1055T + CM Hyper 212+ cooler and clock away?
  2. so if i up to 8gb, wait for the 6000 series and get the 1055T, i will be plannng to liquid cool the system some time down the track, i would be saving a bit right? first build so im a bit of a noob
  3. Up to 8GB depends: for gaming rigs it's totally not required and i would recommend air cooling always even for seasoned peeps Btw why dun u try the onboard sound 1st and if it is not to your liking hit a discrete soundcard?
  4. 2x2 gb, umm stick with corsair? cause i wont be doing any intense editing, just mainly schooling and gaming any news on how the 6000 series performs? also i was stuck between the Haf x and the antec 1200
  5. Hmm actually just school and games i'd just hit the 955BE really X6 is for more intense workstation/render/encode kindda stuff With too many misinformation floating around i would really await a respectable review from a reliable source hehe
  6. well i was looking at the X6 because i'd prefer to futureproof it i dont wanna upgrade every season ;)
  7. also what i was thinking is 1000W too much or and would a 750 or 850W be sufficient?
  8. A beefy 80/80+ bronze 750 would be fine
  9. okay, would an i7 be a better alternative then the x6?
  10. CoolerMaster HAF X Case $239.00
    AMD Phenom II X6 1055T $209.00
    PowerColor Radeon HD5870 PCS+ 1GB $399.00
    Samsung Spinpoint F2 1.5TB HD154UI $79.00
    Corsair CMP4GX3M2A1600C8 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 $154.00
    Samsung SH-B123A 12X Blu-ray DVD Combo Drive $69.00
    CoolerMaster GX 750W PSU $139.00
    ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 Motherboard $187.00

    Sub-Total:$1475.00
i will be changing the graphics card when the 6000 series comes out
  11. Hmm Friday would see HD 6k released so it's really worth the wait if u could afford to IMO hehe
  12. well with the money i saved on the parts i can just put it in towards the 6000 series
  13. Yep from early reports the improvement in DX11 performance alone would be worth the wait hehe
