My Build- Need Advice

Im new and currently building my system and i thought i would share and get your opinions, im from Aussie and i am using PC Case Gear
Coolmaster Haf X
Amd Phenom X 6 1090T BE
Power cooler Radeon HD 5870 PCS + 1GB
Asus M4A89GTD Pro/ USB 3 Motherboard
Corsair CMP6GX3M3A1600C8 6GB DDR3 Ram
Antec CP-1000W powersupply
Auzentech X-studio 5.1
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
Samsung SH B123A 12x Blu-Ray Drive
all up its about 1800 im trying to get the best for the lowest price so can you please help me and give your opinions

Hmm the good thing about that 890GX is

it's got integrated graphics

and the not so good

kindda pricey and if 8/8 Cf is not needed even more so

Hence with the HD 6000 series in a matter of days now just hold off that discrete GPU purchase? Consider 880G as well of even 785G/790GX if USB/SATA 3.0 is not a deal breaker ^^

Also : AM3 is dual channel so 2 x 2 or 2 x 4 GB and consider the much cheaper 1055T + CM Hyper 212+ cooler and clock away?

so if i up to 8gb, wait for the 6000 series and get the 1055T, i will be plannng to liquid cool the system some time down the track, i would be saving a bit right? first build so im a bit of a noob

Up to 8GB depends: for gaming rigs it's totally not required and i would recommend air cooling always even for seasoned peeps Btw why dun u try the onboard sound 1st and if it is not to your liking hit a discrete soundcard?

2x2 gb, umm stick with corsair? cause i wont be doing any intense editing, just mainly schooling and gaming any news on how the 6000 series performs? also i was stuck between the Haf x and the antec 1200

Hmm actually just school and games i'd just hit the 955BE really X6 is for more intense workstation/render/encode kindda stuff With too many misinformation floating around i would really await a respectable review from a reliable source hehe

well i was looking at the X6 because i'd prefer to futureproof it i dont wanna upgrade every season

also what i was thinking is 1000W too much or and would a 750 or 850W be sufficient?

A beefy 80/80+ bronze 750 would be fine

Yep from early reports the improvement in DX11 performance alone would be worth the wait hehe
