That said, it is highly unlikely that there is an upgraded motherboard that will fit your laptop case, as laptops are engineered around a specific design so that everything fits. It is not like a desktop that uses a standard size / design.

With laptops, you don't have much play at all when upgrading the cpu or motherboard. You have to replace it with the exact part number of your current motherboard.
