Hey guys, can anyone tell me what is an affordable mother board that is compatible to an AMD processor? im planning to get an phenom x4 as an upgrade, im pretty sure my asus p5kpl is not compatible with AMD chips. So, whats a good and affordable mobo for amd? overclockable or not. thanks also, i would preffer a 4 channel board so i can get to use my 5pcs ddr2 RAM 1gb each. BTW! is there a limit to the amount of RAM my pc can use? or does it depend on your OS? i have win7 64bit

I would suggest you go to and go to computer components, choose Motherboard. Then on the left side, choose to show only AMD AM3/AM3+ Sockets.

All of those are going to be your choices. You can see review from other buyers, compare prices between manufacturer's, and see what they support.
