Solution
The 8800gtx is a fine card still but a simple GTS250 if you are into Nvidia and on a small budget while a 5770 is the sweet spot fo ATI. If you are willing to spend the money then a GTX460 is perfect. For $90 you might be able to land a used 9800gt/4850 if you are lucky but $89 for a 8800gtx is to much.
