How to connect ide hard disk to sata motherboard

  1. you can get a converter. i did it a long time ago. a little complicated.
  2. Yup a convert would do it. Basically just plug the thing into the thing and that thing into the mobo. Booyah.

    I get this ( http://www.addonics.com/products/diagrams/ADEBIDE2SA_diagram_lrg.jpg ) converter but it didn't work
  4. thats the one i used. it was alot of trial and error. first you need 2 free molex. 1 to the hdd and 1 to the converter. then make sure the sata cable is in the right port. then i found out you have to have the jumper completely out for it to work.
