Video display

After reinstalling XP from the h/disk,I installed new drivers but though some films etc look ok ,many are very poor.Is there any answer to this problem,it's driving me crazy?

Did you install all of the Nvidia drivers from the Nvidia website? Have you installed a Codec package? I recommend CCCP, just google it. Finally if neither of those work try using another media player like VLC.
