Hello and thanks for your help:

How does this sound? Any recommendations for better performance (under $1000)? This system is meant for gaming and will be a crossfire system in the future.

Solid build under $1,000. I would just suggest going with the Seagate 7200.12 500GB hard drive for a little more.

Well I'm looking for speed over size. Im not storing any music, video, etc. 320GB should be more than enough. Maybe a SSD, but I can't find a good and cheap one that could hold all my programs...

Yeah... you will be hard press to find a SSS to fit within that budget, compared to the Samsung SpinPoint F4 cost. 320GB is fine for your system's storage needs. I have an old spare Dell with a 320GB & an 7600GT that is fine with games & storage capacity.

I know. They are too expensive... Even if I went for a 64gb I would go over budget by 30-50$... When will they be cheap... :(
