The speed on my ram is wrong

I just bought 2 sticks of 4 GB ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428 And i put them in and the work fine but i open up Speccy to see how fast they are running and it says 8.00 GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 800MHz (11-11-11-28). I believe they are supposed to run at 1600MHz and 9-9-9-24 How would i set the timing to that or is it just speccy being wrong.

Well the 800Mhz is correct, 800x2 dual channel is 1600Mhz, the timings are a different story. You can check BIOS and see what they are running in there. What program did you use to check this?
