Is it common for one core to run hotter than the other? Speedfan tells me that Core 0 is at 42 degrees, Core 1 at 51, with nothing buy Firefox, Speedfan, and Outlook Express running. I've never seen Core 1 cooler than that temp.

FWIW, heatsink is a Cooler Master Hyper 212, thermal compound is Antec Formula 5 Silver.

I might be mistaken, but I was under the impression that the wolfdale core 2s only had 1 temperature sensor for the overall temp. I might be imagining this though... I have 2 e7500's systems and mine usually reads both core temps at 39 degrees no matter if one is loaded and one is idle.

But I could be mistaken.
