I am currently running a single ASUS EAH5770 CuCore/2DI/1GD5/A card and I want to experiment a little with Eyefinity. I read up a lot on certain other forms about Active and passive display adapters that are needed. However there are a lot of conflicting ideas as to whether or not active adapters are needed or not (As they can be pricey). I am a complete novice at this and have never used or setup eyefinity before. I have available to me 2x19" benQ displays and a 1x20" Fujitsu (Center screen), I would like to know how I would need to setup the actual ports on my card? It has 1xDVI, 1xVGA and 1xHDMI ports available, I would obviously first try it on a low resolution, maybe starting at 800x600 and working my way up from there to see which performs better as I know the my card will struggle with anything too high unlike the HD5850 or higher. I also did download a newer version of ATI catalyst namely 10.8 which I know does support eyefinity.
