There seem to be 2 different states when plugged in that my Laptop
Power Supply shows. I will try to explain:
Sometimes when it is plugged in, the battery indicates that it is
Charging, sometimes the battery indicates that it is Discharging. When
it is charging, the display is fine.
When it is Discharging, the display has a pulse of light that occurs
about every 3 or 4 seconds, very annoying. If someone can please
expain why this would happen I would appreciate it.
On battery power alone the display is fine. When the battery gets to
100% it is fine.
Here are the particulars:
HP Compaq nx9030
Pentium M 1500MHz
992 MB RAM
XP Pro 2002 SP1
Intel Extreme Graphics 2 for Mobile
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Hi,
If you are getting a battery discharging message when you are
plugged into mains, you have a power supply problem. It sounds like
it may be intermittent so I am not sure how you would troubleshoot
the problem.
