Hello, Im looking to build my first sytem in about 2 months with the following parts:

AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE

ASUS M4A87TD EVO

sapphire vapor-x radeon HD 5770

WD caviar black 1TB 7200 RPM HDD

Cooler Master HAF 922

lite-on Sata DVD-ROM drive (OEM)

G.Skill ripjaws 8 gb (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 mhz

Windows 7 home premium

Cooler master Hyper 212+

Cooler Master megaflow 200 (for the side of the hAF case)

ASUS usb n13 wireless adapter

Saitek RAT 7 Mouse

OCZ Fatal1ty 550W PSU

with an additional hdmi cable these come out to just under $1200 from newegg, and just over $1200 on tigerdirect. With the HD 6000 series of cards coming out soon, im hoping i can shave some $ off in the video card department, but im pretty much set on all the parts except for the mouse ( a cheaper one with similar performance would be nice).

Another thing that has been bothering me a bit is the SATA cables, im not quite sure if i would need to purchase any extra sets since the HDD and the DVD-rom will most likely be OEM.

I do have a decent flat screen tv that i plan on hooking this up to, so a monitor isnt required, nor is a keyboard.

.... and is an antistatic wrist strap highly reccomended for building a pc?

Also, any general thoughts/advice regarding my setup would be appreciated ^_^
