E4600 in an acer m1610

does anyone know if an iIntel® Core™2 Duo Processor E4600
(2M Cache, 2.40 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) would work in a acer am1610. currently it has a e2140 in it.

  1. that is were i stated and hwo i found out that it can do up the the 800 MHz FSB. My only concern is that is says in the intel website that its intel 64. I am not exactly sure what the means. I do know that its an x86 based system which i believe is just a standard 32 bit system but then again i could be completely wrong. I would love any help on this
  2. All modern CPU's support 32 and 64 bit instructions so you are fine.
