Windows from HHD to SSD

Hi guys,

I bought a new SSD which I want to use for my os only. I already have windows installed into my HHD which is partitioned. What I want to do is to remove os from my HHD and installed it into my SSD? I do not want to lose anything from my HHD apart from windows (c:\) as I still need them. So is there a way to do this?

Thx

  1. You can move an OS installation, but your better off doing a clean install on the SSD. Just make sure that the HDD is disconnected when you do the install, and just plug it back afterward.

I do want do to a clean install on the SSD, and remove windows from HHD without reformatting my HHD .
  3. Just do a clean install on the SSD, after your done plug your HDD back in and delete the Windows folder.
