Hey.
So I got this USB 3.0 device. Backward compatible with 2.0.
The 3.0 cable's fitting into my port, (I have no clue how), but the computer's not responding.
So, which cable should I get?

don't need a cable. how many usb ports did you try? the ones on the back of the machine ( motherboard ) should be good to go. if you tried plugging into the front usb ports and they're not hooked ( wired ) to the motherboard they won't work.
