The right mobo 4 Phenom II X4 black ed.

hello,
i need your opinion guys, what's the right mobo for PII x4 black ed. for HD viewing and light gaming only like starcraft2, dota2, RFequi. is ASUS P5A88-M ok?

I'm interested in this question too! Though I'm not looking into the Black Edition of the PII X4 but rather the standard 3.0ghtz. The reviews on Newegg for Mobos are discouraging.

For performance and reliability I highly recommend Gigabyte mobos based on my 20 years of building PCs as I have used all the major brands. If you buy the AM3+ 990X or FX models then you can upgrade to Bulldozer in the future.

I do not recommend Asus as they are often problematical mobos in my experience. The only two mobos I have had fail in 20 years were both Asus and Asus has zero customer support in my experience.

Unless you desire SLI/Crossfire the UD3 series should meet all of your needs. If you do desire SLI/Crossfire then the UD5 or UD7 would be the best choices.
