I have noticed, that when i am using My Win XP SP2 corp, occasionaly
the computer assumes for some reason that the mouse has been click,
when it has not!
I can be typing and then, because the mouse is some where within the
text box, the cursor jumps to where the mouse is. i have noticed this
on previous installations, and seems to creep in gradually.
Does anyone know the cause of this, and even a possible solution, other
than re-installing windows - which i have done far too many times
before.

Hi Rik,
Go to mouse properties and turn off 'tapping'.
What is happening is the palm of your hand is brushing against the
touchpad and is being read as a click.
