Mouse cursor jammed, tried everything possible

Today, I was inside my computer reorganizing cables, to make everything look more spacious and clean, and when I turned the computer back on, the mouse didn't move. Of course at first, I though it was a fluke, and just restarted, no effect. I then called my cousin, who's good with computers, we talked for 2 hours, no progress. After we talked I reforamtted wiped the computer clean, and did about anything I could do with software. I called my cousin again, after a 5 hour talk with team viewer. We crossed out drivers, software updates, deleting mouse drivers then reinstalling. The only theory I could come up with is perhaps the lastest beta drivers from Nvidia caused some damage. I will list my specs if it helps, thank you :).

More about mouse cursor jammed possible
  1. Have you tried a different mouse? It's possible that your mouse is broken. Also, can your computer see your mouse in device manager?
