Player switching during demo playback

Archived from groups: alt.games.unreal.tournament2003 (More info?)

I'm looking for a way to switch the viewed player directly during demo
playback; something like "viewplayer xxx" instead of pressing the left
mouse button a couple times. Unfortunately, the viewplayer command
seems to be disabled during demo playback, since I keep getting
"unrecognized command" replies.

Is there any way to achieve this? Cycling through the players is
really annoying to look at when creating AVI files.
