After adjusting some cables, computer not booting

I've had a working homebuilt system for a few months which has had no problems. I wanted to move around some cables so I turned it off, switched off the PSU and adjusted a couple cables. Now when I turn on the mobo, all the fans and lights turn on immediately but it takes minutes before I hear the bootup beep (is that what posting is?) and my monitor gets no output. I already went through the sticky troubleshoot guide but that didn't help. Any ideas?

You reseated the GPU and checked that you did not accidentally loosen any connections?

I took out the GPU and put it back in and it worked, thank god. Is there a certain order for putting the GPU in?

Not really, you must have just bumped it when you where organizing cables, it happens.
