OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ700MXSP 700W

  1. any suggestions would be appreciated :)
  2. It is one of the better OCZ psu's. Most of the cables are 30" total length and the case is 19.7" should not be a problem with the cables. Here is another modular unit with good reviews. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207002&cm_re=xfx_650w_power_supply-_-17-207-002-_-Product

  3. lol thanks. if the price goes back up on the OCZ then ill consider that one. also the OCZ has a $20 mail in rebate, it would actually be $69 for a 700w.

    would a 650w handle

    COOLER MASTER HAF 922
    ASRock 870 EXTREME3
HIS H577FK1GD Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB
    AMD Athlon II X4 640
    G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB)
and if i decided later to crossfire?
  4. Yes a quality 550-600watt can handle 2 x HD5770 in CF easily.
  5. Thats a good psu, this is better for the same sort of money, has a 5yr warranty but not modular.

The XFX is better than the OCZ also.
  6. yeah i was tempted for that corsair except its not modular and i wasnt sure if 650w would handle xfire. but when the time comes that i can buy one ill definably look between those 3. it depends on which one is the lowest price at the time since im kinda on budget to stay under or around $600 but preferably under.
  7. Tested on a high end OC system, get the XFX now while its on offer, doubt you'll get a better one for that money.
