I have been playing Frag Ops for the last couple of days. It's basically
a counterstrike clone with weapons that can be "upgraded" (with a scope
or a laser pointer for instance). I don't think this mod innovates from
a gameplay point of view but it's still very good.
I also installed SAS, but I haven't played it enough to judge it.

Are there any other mods I should try ?

Does it support offline play with bots?

Muralis is fun, it converts the game to hand-to-hand combat, and has some
really asskicking kung-fu-style moves. I haven't tried it with a bullet-
time mutator yet, if that worked it'd be pretty cool.

ChaosUT is worth playing for the bizarre weapons.

I've been playing the beta of LawDogs. It's lots of fun, it's an Old West
mod, with horses you can actually ride.

Clone Bandits is fun, it has a rocket cycle and a souped-up Barracuda, it's
a real Mad Max style game.

In theory it does, but on my version, the offline play has a bug which
makes the game unplayable (weapons do not appear in your hands and you
can't shoot). Considering it's a big download, if you're on a slow
connection I recommend you wait until the problem is solved.

I'll go check the forums on the frag-ops site to see what they say about
this bug.
