Can't access my 1TB Buffalo external HD

Hello all,

I have issue on my ITB buffalo ext HD, i can see the blue light on the HD when connected to my laptop, but i can't access it since i the HD can't be seen in the "My computer" list of drive.

Trying to access in disk management but also error found after initializing the disk "the request could not be performed due to I/O device error".

I check the disk capacity it appears 2Tb instead of 1Tb

If the capacity is being reported as 2TiB (not 2TB), then this is symptomatic of an internal problem with the HDD, possibly a damaged firmware module.

How does HD Sentinel see the drive?
