I am thinking about building a comp myself rather than buying one already put together. I want to know if this build will work or not, as well as if it is good or not.

This is my build minus the graphics card(s). Will I be able to have 5870's in crossfire and will I be able to play games like crysis and starcraft 2? I'm also not sure if all the components are compatible with each other.

Solution
1. If u just game no render/encode/compile/vid edit/etc justthe 955BE would do
2. If u are thinking CF negative on that Asus 880: 16/4 is a no no so have a look at Asrock 870Extreme3
3. With HD6k out now, $240 for HD 6870 and enhanced CF scaling suffice to say the sun ought to go down on the HD 5.8k cards @@

This is a HD6870CF build - take off a card if u feel u dun want to CF immediately ^^
