8-series chipsets don't support SLI at all.
By the way, 990X chipset also supports SLI with reduced PCIe lanes of x8 for each x16 slot but that's still adequate.

You may want to have a look at Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3. ($140)
It has many high-end features. On-board audio codec is very good, too. It's $10 more than your budget, though.

The lowest you can go is ASRock 970 Extreme4. ($110)
On paper, 970 chipset can't split x16 PCIe lanes into 2x8 for dual-slot configuration but ASRock must have used some sort of magic to make its 970 acts like 990X.
After reading some feedback, SLI really does work. Don't know about overall quality, though.

If you want the best feature set and reliability for the money, go with Gigabyte but if...
