I plan to use it for internet, watching movies, music, word processing and Warcraft 3, Call of DUtY: Modern warfare 2 and Counter strike source. I already have a 1440 by 900 monitor.

  1. You can get this case/PSU combo for the same price ($65) with promo code EMCZYZX86. The PSU had plenty of power for an HD5670 card (I have the same PSU powering mine).

For $7.98 more than their CPU/mobo you can get this QUAD-core/790GX combo:

    $142.98
  2. would the quad core be better in the long run?

Not really, when the triple core gets outdated for gaming, it would be time for a platform upgrade anyways.

How about the PSU + Case. The corsair psu has bad feedback. Should i go with the antec case and psu that the Dougie Fresh posted?

The CX430 is a good PSU, the feedback is bad only because its a worse product compared to its predecessor, the CX400, which is 80Plus rated. I doubt half of the reviewers actually bought that thing.

At only $25AR, its a nice buy.

The Antec isn't a bad buy though, coming down to only $20 for the case. It is larger however, but as a result you can save a couple of buck by switching to a cheaper ATX Mobo.
