Graphics card

Hi,
I'm a gamer. I just bought a new PC. But I don't have a graphics card and I want to buy a 1GB card.
My budget is fromRs.2500-Rs.4000(India).Any advise will be taken.

We need to know more to help you. What PC did you buy? What is the CPU/Motherboard/Ram/PSU, also what resolution do you game at? What types of games do you play?

Regardless I don't think you can do much better at this price range.

DDR 2 2GB RAM



I want a 1GB card.
I play most of the games other than first person(POP,Assassins creed etc)

You're not going to find a very good Nvidia card in that price range, but I guess I can look...

Here, I found something decent, its not 1GB memory, but I doubt you need that much, especially if you aren't playing at high resolutions.

That 9400GT won't even utilize 1GB memory, and I seriously doubt you need it, I've played at 1920x1200 resolution with 896mb of memory. Also the 9600GT 512mb DDR3 is going to be leagues better than a 9400GT 1GB DDR2.

^ No. The 9500GT is a low end card. Don't bother with it for gaming,etc. And WTH are you so insistent on a 1GB card? A 9600GT 512MB will pwn a 9500GT 1GB.
